Vegetable Manchurian

Last day, as usual, I was hoping to cook something new. And thanks to the huge blogosphere, I was sure I would find something new. But the problem was, I did not know what to search! :D Finally, I hopped onto Aipi ’s ( US Masala ) blog. Not only is Aipi a great cook, but she is also an awesome photographer.  And that’s how I fell for her “Vegetable Manchurian”. Thank you gal! :D I could not follow her recipe ditto as I was out of a few ingredients. Still, it came out awesome. A liked it so much that he ate a lott. Well, it got over the same day :D What more can I ask for.  :) Ingredients For the Manchurian balls  Cabbage, grated – 1 C Carrot, grated – 1 C Green beans, chopped – 5 Onion, sliced – ¾ C Garlic, chopped – 3 Green chilli, chopped – 1 Soy sauce – 2 t All purpose flour – 6 T or as required Corn starch – 1 ½ T Rice Flour – 1 T Salt – to taste Black Pepper – to taste Oil – to fry  For the sauce  Oil – 2 t Ginger, ch...

Chinese Vegetable Fried Rice

Ingredients Cooked & Cooled rice – 2 cups Choped onion- 1/2 cup Diced vegetables(Carrot,Green Beans)- 1/2 cup Green Peas -1/4 cup Chopped Capsicum,Celery & Spring Onion- 1/2 cup Whole dry chillies slit-3 Soya Sauce -2 tsp Green Chilly Sauce – 1 tsp Pepper powder – 1 tsp Salt – to taste Olive Oil - to taste Method Heat oil in a pan and add onion and red chillies. Add all the diced vegetables and green peas and saute well. Add soya sauce,chilly sauce and salt to it. Stir for few minutes. Now add capsicum,celery and spring onion and cook till vegetables are tender. Cook untill all the water evaporates. Finally add cooled rice to it and mix well on high heat. Add pepper powder and stir well. Garnish with Spring Onion greens. You can also add scrambled egg along with this.

Gobi Manchurian (Cauliflower Manchurian Curry)

When indian cuisine mixes with Chinese you get a few indian styled Chinese cuisines. One of them being the Gobi Manchurian! Restaurants always serve this mouth watering dish with so much aroma that you wont think twice about finishing it.  :D  Guess what! I tried my hands on this superb dish and i can say that it tasted good. Let me pen down, how.
